The business is run by me, Rayan, a life-time lover of these wondrous places.
After having acquired working experience in the commercial and catering sectors, I first started exploring this magical world through horse-riding at the Parco delleAlpiApuane, where I gained the title of horse guide/instructor for accessible tourism.
From 2004, I’ve been involved with the restoration of stone huts in our alps, and in 2009 I created our organic farm business thanks to the help of friends and family.
As a matter of fact, it’s thanks to the help my mother Loriana (most of all in the kitchen) and of my aunt Ivana that I was able to also start on vegetable and fruit cultivation on our lands whilst refurbishing the structure of the hostel.
Since my first day on this mountain close to my heart, I’ve tried my hardest to learn as much as possible about its natural landscape, its history, and the customs of its inhabitants. It’s been a joy to learn secret footbaths and via ferratas (climbing routes involving steel cables) for those who like the physical aspects of mountain life, as well as resting spots with breath-taking views for those who wish to relax and take in the beauty of this natural landscape.
